CANDLEWOOD LAKE

Composer Tim Phillips and playwright Carl Grose reunite for this new musical in early stages of development. Tim is co-Artistic Director of Filter Theatre Company and works extensively in film and TV composition. Carl is an actor, writer and former co-Artistic Director of Kneehigh Theatre. Their production of The Grinning Man from Bristol Old Vic transferred to the West End in 2019.

Candlewood Lake had a developmental residency at Sheridan College in Fall 2023.

MISTER DANNY

“Mister Danny” aka Danny Rudnick, is an award-winning magician and an advanced high school chemistry teacher. His untitled project under commission with Pemberley Productions examines belief in science, magic, and fatherhood.

CAFE SOCIETY

Cafe Society will be a fast-paced, music-led show with a live eight-piece band, based on the true story of Cafe Society at One Sheridan Square, Greenwich Village - New York’s first racially desegregated night club (1938-1949).

The critically acclaimed story is being reimagined as an immersive experience by playwright James Anthony Tyler and dramaturg/director Postell Pringle, with notable songs from the era paired with original music by composer Alex Webb.

SHE CAME FROM THE BRONX

An immersive 10-part journey through the distinct periods and styles of Hip Hop's history from the award-winning Q Brothers Collective (creators of internationally acclaimed hits such as The Bomb-itty of Errors and Othello: The Remix).

Each section represents an iconic era—from the early block parties and underground battles to mainstream breakthroughs and global dominance. This experiential sound & movement journey unfolds through music, dance and spoken word — reinforcing Hip Hop’s continuous impact on the world, showing how it has always been more than just music.

She Came From the Bronx will have a developmental production with the University of Illinois Chicago in February 2025.
