Touring works by TIM CROUCH

TIM CROUCH

Tim is a playwright, director, performer and theatre maker based in Brighton, UK. He was an actor before he started to write and he still performs in much of his work. Pemberley is delighted to be bringing several of Tim Crouch’s groundbreaking projects around the US - each very different, all narratively driven but pay as much attention to their form as to their story. Tim’s projects touring with Pemberley are all light on their feet and able to play runs at varying lengths.

Alongside his performances, Tim has been asked to host workshops or talks with universities and training programs around the world. He is always open to discussing engagement around presentations of his productions.

AN OAK TREE

A rare chance to see the play that shaped a theatre landscape. A story of loss, suggestion and the power of the mind. Tim is joined by some of the greatest actors in the world with a different cast mate every night. No two shows are the same.

MY ARM

My Arm is an extraordinary piece of theatre about modern art, bloody-mindedness and how the things we do when we’re ten stick with us for life. It’s beautifully written: simple, honest, intimate and painfully funny.

Truth’s a Dog Must to Kennel

In this new solo work, Tim Crouch draws on ideas of virtual reality - a daringly unaccommodated piece of theatre that switches between scathingly funny stand-up and an audacious act of collective imagining. King Lear meets stand-up meets the metaverse.

I, MALVOLIO

A story of lost dignity, prudery, practical jokes and bullying, this one-man act of storytelling alchemy draws us deep into the madness of Shakespeare’s classic comedy.
